PORTFOLIO ACTIVITIES 2017-2018

    On 07-08-2017 I joined in GOVT. GIRLS. HR. SEC. SCHOOL,  THIRUVITHAN CODE for Internship teaching practice

 From 11-08-2017 to 30-08-2017 I taught  "Heat Transfer" for class IX . I used various teaching aids like plug card, flash card, Chart and Booklet, etc to make the class more effective. I made the students to understand the content by clarifying their doubts.

   From 23-08-2017 to 28-08-2017 I taught a  lesson " Current Circuit" for class IX. I used various teaching aids like plug card, flash card, booklet and chart to make the class more effective. Students had understood the content by observing the teaching aids.

  
 From 29-08-2017 to 01-09-2017 I taught "Thomson Atomic Model " for class IX. I used various teaching aids such as plug card, flash card, booklet, 2D, and chart for making the class more effective. The students had understood the lesson clearly.

  On 31-08-2017 I taught  "Magnetic Force" for class VIII by showing various teaching aids like plug card, flash card, chart, booklet. The students understood the lesson by clarifying their doubts.

 On 7-11-2017 "School day" was celebrated. Various cultural programmes were conducted. I gave practice for a dance.

On 5-09-2017 "Teachers Day"  celebration was conducted , I put a costume for a student as "Nehru"

From 04-10-2017 to 05-10-2017 I taught  "Electro Fining " by using various teaching aids like plug card, flash card, booklet, chart and 2D for making the class more effective.

      From 4-10-2017 to 05-10-2017  I taught  "Elements and Symbols" for class VIII by showing various kinds of teaching aids like flash card, plug card, booklet, chart 2D. The students has understood the lesson by observing the teaching aids and clarifying their doubts.

 From 09-10-2017 to 10-10-2017 I taught a  lesson "Waves " for class IX by using various teaching aids like plug card, flash card, chart and 2D for making the class more effective. The lesson was good and the class was so effective.

   From 09-10-2017 to 11-10-2017 I taught "Liqiuds " for class VIII by using various teaching aids like plug card, flash card, chart booklet and 2D for making the class more effective. the students had understood the lesson.

From 13-10-2017 to 19-10-2017 I taught "Atomic Structure" for class VIII by using various teaching aids like plug card, flash card, booklet, chart and 2D for making the class more effective. The students had understood about the atomic structure. It was a fantastic lesson.

 From 23-10-2017 to 31-10-2017 I taught "Sound Waves" for class IX by using various teaching aids like plug card, flash card, booklet, chart and 2D for making the class so effective. It was a beautiful lesson.

 From 23-10-2017 to 25-10-2017 I taught "Dalton's Atomic Structure" for class VIII by using some birds' pictures in the flash card, plug card, booklet, charts and 2D for making the class more effective. The students had understood about the birds and how they are helping to us.



 On 30-10-2017 I taught "Electricity and Waves" for class VIII by using various teaching aids like flash card, plug card, booklet, chart,2D for making the class more effective.

  
From 10-11-2017 to 14-11-2017 I taught "Sound Waves " for class VIII by using various teaching aids liker plug card, flash card, chart, booklet, 2D for making the class more effective. It was a beautiful African tale. This was so nice to read. It taught a moral to the students that they should never feel worry about their failures but they should  work for their success without getting tired.
 

 I gave lots of revision and explanation for the better understanding of the students. It made the students to score good marks in the examination.

    Overall  through the intensive teaching practice I have gained the knowledge about how to teach the students for their better understanding and also learned how to handle the class and how to make the students to study and clarifying their doubts. However, the teaching practice gave a good experience to me.

    On 11-01-2018 Pongal celebration was conducted. Group wise pongal competition also held on that day. our group 'D' won the first prize in the competition. Afternoon various cultural programmes were conducted I participated in group dance. The pongal celebration was really a nice Experience. Through the pongal competition I had learned how to make pongal.
